In 2020, the City of New Brighton approved the 2040 Park & Trail System Master Plan, which identifies improvements to the park and trail system to meet the current needs and desires of the community. 5 parks are receiving an update: Hansen Park, Totem Pole Park, Sunny Square, Lions Park, Sliver Oaks.
